FAQ

  • Are your sessions confidential?
Yes, confidentiality is paramount in all we do. We create a safe space where you can openly discuss your concerns, knowing that your privacy will be respected at all times and that our sole aim is to minister to and protect your wellbeing.
  • How much do you charge per session?
We charge a fee of $150 per session. Each session lasts 60 minutes. This may vary after the first few sessions as we also prioritize the different needs couples may have.
  • How long have you been counseling/coaching married couples?
    Since 2019
  • What if my partner is hesitant about marriage counseling/coaching?
It's not uncommon for one partner to be hesitant about seeking help. We encourage open communication and understanding between partners. We can facilitate discussions and help alleviate concerns to create a supportive environment for both of you.
  • What is marriage coaching, and how does it differ from counseling?
Marriage coaching focuses on identifying goals, improving communication, and enhancing relationship skills to strengthen marriages. While counseling typically addresses past issues and traumas, coaching is more future-oriented, empowering couples to achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Are you certified counselors?
No, we're not (yet). But we do have years of experience counseling and coaching couples and we've had many positive reviews from our clients. The benefit we offer besides being Christians and joyfully married among others is that we offer our services together, as husband and wife. We believe this is unique and quite frankly should be the standard because it right from the onset paints a healthy and positive picture of marriage. We're genuinely passionate about working side-by-side with the couples we serve to achieve a godly, healthy, and joyful marriage and home that honors and glorifies the Lord, ultimately. We are working on getting certified. We love what we do, and are committed to investing in our body of knowledge and wisdom.
  • Can we attend sessions individually or must we attend together as a couple?
Our approach is to meet with couples together, especially for the first few sessions. However, individual sessions may also be beneficial, especially when addressing personal issues that impact the relationship. We will work with you to determine the most effective approach based on your needs. Whatever the case, we almost always meet individually at some point within the process with couples before they cease meeting with us regularly.
  • What can we expect from your sessions?
You can expect a godly, biblical, Christi-centered, and supportive environment where you and your partner will work with us to identify challenges, set goals, and develop practical strategies to improve your relationship. We value godliness, the pursuit of joy in the Holy Spirit, and submission to His leading for sanctification unto glory. We believe a blissful marriage is only a by-product of a life willfully submitted to the Lord, and we help couples to align and maintain a reverent posture toward the Lord. We don't neglect drawing from psychological, physical, and emotional wisdom to help couples deal with the nuances of husband-wife relationship and the challenges that arise from the desire to remain one in marriage.
  • How long does a session take?
Each session lasts 90 minutes. The duration of sessions may however vay depending on the unique needs and goals of each couple. Some couples may see significant progress after just a few sessions, while others may choose to engage in ongoing counseling/coaching for continued support and growth.
  • Who can benefit from marriage counseling/coaching?
Marriage coaching is beneficial for couples at any stage of their relationship, whether they're newlyweds seeking to establish a strong foundation, struggling with communication, or fairly experienced couples wanting to enrich their marriage.
  • How long have you been married?
We have been married for 6 years.
